Graduates

Margaret Spingola

Margaret Anne Spingola of Butler received a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies from The Catholic University of America.

Spingola is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She was a four-year recipient of the Grand Master H.U. Lee National Scholarship and is a fourth-degree black belt in tae kwon do.

She also received the academic Presidential Scholarship from Gettysburg College and the F. William Sunderman Scholarship from the Sunderman Conservatory of Gettysburg College.

She is employed in the emergency department of Butler Health System and is a nationally certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.

Spingola is a 2007 honors graduate of Butler High School and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Maryland’s Towson University in 2011.

She is the daughter of Dr. Charles Spingola and Dr. Kathy Schweikart-Spingola of Butler.

Grantham University

The following students received degrees from Grantham University in Lenexa, Kan.

Butler: Wayne Brahler, bachelor’s degree and Dawn Nickleach, associate degree

Cranberry Township: Walter Healy, bachelor’s degree and Anthony Morgan, associate degree

Fenelton: Nickolas Slomer, bachelor’s degree

Saxonburg: Becky Bloom, bachelor’s degree

Slippery Rock: James Graham, master’s degree.
