Karns City’s Alyssa Stitt went 3-for-4 with a double and two triples to lead an 8-2 softball win over Clarion on Thursday.

Emma Clark and Katie Neff both singled and tripled in support of winning pitcher Mackenzie Shay.

Karns City improved to 5-2 with the win.

Mount Pleasant 2, Knoch 0 — Vikings’ pitcher Carolyn Alincic held Knoch scoreless on two hits. Celia Knappenberger pitched well in defeat, allowing the two runs on three hits while striking out nine.
