Steelers looking for a new QB?

Doing a mock NFL draft is almost as fun as the real thing.

I get to wear the hat of all 32 general managers and try to decipher what they will be thinking come 8 p.m. today.

Here’s my best guess:

No. 1 Cleveland: Miles Garrett, DE. The Browns can’t possibly pass on Garrett. Can they?

No. 2 San Francisco: Jamal Adams, S. No safety has gone this high before. But this could be the year and the safety.

No. 3 Chicago Bears: Leonard Fournette, RB. The Bears have a lot of holes, but Fournette is special.

No. 4 Jacksonville: Solomon Thomas, DE.

No. 5 Tennessee: Mike Williams, WR. The Titans take the 256th receiver named Mike Williams in NFL history and hope he’s better than the first 255.

No. 6 N.Y. Jets: Jonathan Allen, DE/DT.

No. 7 L.A. Chargers: Malik Hooker, S.

No. 8 Carolina: Marshon Lattimore, CB

No. 9 Cincinnati: Derek Barnett, DE. Lots of defensive ends taken early — sign of where the league is going.

No. 10 Buffalo: Deshaun Watson, QB. Because it’s been four years since the Bills took a first-round bust at QB.

No. 11 New Orleans: Taco Charlton, DE. How can you pass on a guy named Taco?

No. 12 Cleveland: Mitchell Trubisky, QB. As his name is called, Trubisky is seen mouthing, “Oh, no.”

No. 13 Arizona: Reuben Foster, LB

No. 14 Philadelphia: O.J. Howard, TE

No. 15 Indianapolis. Cam Robinson, OT. Because Andrew Luck will not survive another season otherwise.

No. 16 Baltimore: Charles Harris, DE/LB. Fits the Ravens’ mold.

No. 17 Washington: Marlon Humphrey, CB

No. 18 Tennessee: Gareon Conley, CB

No. 19 Tampa Bay: Christian McCaffrey, RB. The Bucs are one offensive playmaker away from being a really good team.

No. 20 Denver: Garrett Bolles, OT.

No. 21 Detroit: Haason Reddick, LB

No. 22 Miami: Jarrad Davis, LB

No. 23 N.Y. Giants: Ryan Ramczyk, OT

No. 24 Oakland: John Ross, WR, since Marshawn Lynch has signed with the Raiders.

No. 25 Houston: T.J. Watt, DE/LB. The Watt brothers are reunited.

No. 26 Seattle: Kevin King, CB.

No. 27 Kansas City: Forrest Lamp, C.

No. 28 Dallas: Obi Melifonwu, CB

No. 29 Green Bay: Fabian Moreau, CB. Yes, another DB is selected.

No. 30 Pittsburgh: Jabrill Peppers, S. I wouldn’t be surprised, however, if the Steelers took Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer as a project for when Big Ben’s career eventually strikes midnight.

No. 31 Atlanta: Tra’Davious White, CB. Can’t have too many CBs.

No. 32 New Orleans: Pat Mahomes, QB. Drew Brees isn’t going to play forever.
