[naviga:h2]Methodists start ‘Bridge’ service [/naviga:h2]

First United Methodist Church’s new Bridge service will be at 7 p.m., beginning May 6.

The Bridge is a weekly experience of worship in which Jesus Christ is dynamically at work to change lives. Although The Bridge is built around the language and journey of addiction recovery, it is not exclusively for those who are affected by addiction.

[naviga:h2]Gaiser Family will perform concert[/naviga:h2]

HARRISVILLE — The Gaiser Family of Chicora will give a concert at 6 p.m. May 7 at Harrisville United Methodist Church, 301 S. Main St. Admission is free. A collection will be taken.

The Gaisers have been playing together for 15 years. The group consists of retired teacher Colin Gaiser; Meghan Scrafine, Colin’s daughter; and Kim Gaiser, Colin’s sister.
