PITTSBURGH

National Aviary, 700 Arch St., offers Birdly, a new virtual reality experience that gives the sensation of flying. The cost is $8 per flight. The aviary is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $14 for adults and $13 for senior citizens and children 2 to 12. Visit www.aviary.org.

Children’s Museum, Allegheny Square, presents “Measurement Rules” through May 7 and Ice Station Zebra through May 28. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Visit www.pittsburghkids.org.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, has opened the Butterfly Forest. Phipps is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and until 10 p.m. Fridays. Admission is $17.95 for adults, $16.95 for senior citizens, and $11.95 for children 2 to 18. Visit phipps.conservatory.org.

Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., is showing Bill Mazeroski’s iconic uniform and bat from Game 7 of the 1960 World Series. The exhibit “#Pixburgh: A Photographic Experience,” continues through Aug. 20. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
