Butler Police12:07 p.m. Friday — Sara B. Minda, 27, of Butler was allegedly caught with suspected crack cocaine after being found asleep in a car under the General Richard Butler Bridge on South Main Street.Police said they were called to the parking lot under the bridge for a woman passed out in a vehicle. Officers found Minda slumped over and knocked on one of the windows to awaken her, according to court documents.Minda told officers that she “had been sitting in the lot after a fight with her boyfriend,” a police affidavit said, and that she had not slept in several days.Police said they found a crack pipe in the driver’s door handle. They also later noticed Minda holding a bag in her hand. The bag, documents said, contained suspected crack.Minda is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Amber M. Gregory, 30, of Center Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop last month on Pillow Street. Police said they pulled over Gregory about 2:25 a.m. March 25 when they spotted her car on Fairground Hill Road with one headlight out and with illegally tinted windows.An officer said her car smelled of alcohol and Gregory appeared impaired. She was arrested after failing field sobriety tests and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.A toxicology report showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.09 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.In addition to driving under the influence, Gregory is charged with driving a vehicle with improper sunscreening and a lighting violation.Friday — Kimberly S. Rape, 37, of Butler was charged with felony shoplifting after a suspected tag-switching scam at the Butler Commons Walmart in February.Police said a store employee on Feb. 24 noticed the defendant removing price tags from merchandise and attaching those tags to other items. She later went to the self-checkout area and paid for 22 items, which were in a shopping cart.The employee stopped Rape outside the store. She walked away, leaving the cart behind. According to court documents, an inventory of the merchandise showed that 15 of those items had the prices changed.The combined value of the 15 items was $86.63. The defendant paid $25.20 for that same merchandise.Authorities subsequently identified Rape before police March 18 reviewed store surveillance video, which also showed her failing to pay for two other items valued at $3.43, according to court documents.Police charged Rape, who has prior shoplifting convictions, with felony retail theft.

State Police, Butler1:30 a.m. Tuesday — An unknown burglar used a blunt object to break open a shed at Davis Cycles Sales on Route 422 in Franklin Township. A police report did not indicate if anything was taken.The report described the suspect as a man, between 30 and 40 years old with a stocky build. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Friday — An unknown vandal drilled holes in a water transfer pipe at an XTO Energy facility on McGrady Hollow Road in Clearfield Township. Damage was estimated at $2,000. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.April 18 — Ashley L. Pisor, 26, of Concord Township was charged with drunken driving in connection with a February stop in Oakland Township. Police said they stopped her about 2:20 a.m. Feb. 5 when her sport utility vehicle crossed the fog line and center double line on Route 38 several times.According to court documents, police smelled a “strong” odor of alcohol in the SUV and Pisor appeared to be impaired. She was taken for a blood test after failing field sobriety tests.Toxicology reports showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.076 percent, which is below the level of 0.08 percent that is considered intoxicated under state law. But police checked with a prosecutor in the county’s district attorney’s office, who recommended that Pisor still be charged with driving under the influence.Additionally, she is charged with five counts of disregarding traffic lanes, two counts of failing to keep right, careless driving, failing to notify authorities of a change of address and not wearing a seat belt.April 17 — Brian E. Mershimer, 39, of Clay Township was charged with drugged driving stemming from a one-vehicle wreck last month in Center Township. Police said Mershimer’s SUV hit a guardrail on Route 8 at Thornley Drive.Another motorist told police that he saw the crash. He also noted that the SUV did not have its headlight on, court documents said.Police suspected Mershimer was on drugs when they found him at the scene. Those suspicions grew after he failed field sobriety tests. Results of a blood test at Butler Memorial Hospital eventually showed he had the potent synthetic painkiller fentanyl in his system, documents said.In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Mershimer is charged with failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, driving an unsafe speed and a lighting violation.8:22 a.m. April 13 — Sara L. Huey, 26, of Grove City was arrested for drunken driving after police stopped her car on Windy Point Road just west of Route 308 in Marion Township for not having an inspection sticker and for having a revoked license plate.Police said Huey’s car reeked of alcohol. She admitted to drinking “last night,” according to court documents. She failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. But she refused to take it, police said.A search of her purse, police said, turned up a syringe and a suspected crack pipe.Huey is charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving without license, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended registration, driving without insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

State Police, Mercer8 p.m. March 29 — Anthony W. Consbruck, 59, of Grove City was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 33-year-old woman during a domestic dispute at a house on the 1200 block of Enterprise Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.Consbruck was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment. He was later released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
