Bowlathon slated for Friday night

A Tale of Two Brothers Walk Now For Autism Speaks will have a bowlathon from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Family Bowlaway Fun Center, 540 Fairground Hill Road.

Shoes and lane assignments will be available at 6:30 p.m.

Church schedules yard, bake sale

RENFREW — White Oaks Springs Church, 102 Shannon Road, will have a yard and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit the children’s scholarship fund.

Preschool sets open houses

Super Sprouts Preschool at Christ Community Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, is having open houses until May 18.

Visitors can take school tours and meet teachers from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. any Monday through Thursday.

Investor contest to begin at library

ZELIENOPLE — Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., will participate in the DASH for the STASH poster contest beginning Monday.

DASH for the STASH is a multistate investor education and protection program sponsored by the nonprofit Investor Protection Institute and, in Pennsylvania, by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities.

One random winner from each state will receive a $1,000 IRA contribution for correctly completing the DASH for the STASH poster quizzes.

Visit the library after Monday to read the rules, see the posters and get a chance to play.

Credit workshop coming to library

ZELIENOPLE — Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., will offer “Score Some Points — Improving Your Credit Score,” at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Representatives of Citizens Bank will lead this free financial literacy workshop.

Rimersburg car cruise planned

RIMERSBURG — Rimersburg United Methodist Church, 399 Main St., will host its Seventh Annual Car Cruise from 3 to 6 p.m. May 6, rain or shine.

Cars will be displayed in the parking lot behind the church. Free food will be available from 3 to 5 p.m. Donations will be accepted for the program My Brother’s Keeper, which benefits local people in need.

Christian school plans spring bash

JEFFERSON TWP — HIS Kids Christian School, 650 Saxonburg Road, will have its Heritage Spring Bash from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 6.

There will be food, vendors, crafts, a basket auction and children’s activities.

Proceeds will benefit HIS Kids Christian School.
