OAKLAND TWP — Oakland Township /Oneida Valley Fire Company will have a rabies clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the fire hall, 301 Oneida Valley Road.

Dr. Denis Daman, from Suburban Animal Clinic, will to administer shots. The clinic will be a drive through, allowing animal owners to have their pets inoculated without removing them from their car.

There is a fee for the inoculation. For more information, call Phyllis Fry at 724-679-6280.

[naviga:h3]Find worms, flowers at Jennings programs[/naviga:h3]

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, will offer the following programs in May:

2 to 4 p.m. May 12, Spring Wildflowers at Jennings: Celebrate the arrival of spring with a wildflower walk at the center. Jennings’ staff will describe the unique history, uses and folklore of the season’s first blossoms.

2 to 4 p.m. May 21, Nature Detectives: The Case of the Wiggly Worms: Families will use detective skills to observe and gather data about earthworms.

May 17 is the registration deadline and space is limited. To register, visit http://events.dcnr.pa.gov/ or call 724-794-6011. To help the organizers, indicate the number of adults, the number of children and the children’s ages.
