CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases:

Jay Vinroe, 51, of Renfrew was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, driving an unregistered vehicle, careless driving and operating a vehicle without valid inspection filed Feb. 6 by Butler state police.

Jeremiah Brockman, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to carry a license, failure to notify of a change of address, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving filed Feb. 6 by Butler state police.

Christopher Cannon, 27, of Butler was held for court on charges of criminal homicide, robbery, theft, conspiracy and access device fraud filed March 3 by state police.

Ryan Waller, 34, of Butler was waived to court on charges of making a false written statement to buy a firearm and unsworn falsification filed March 16 by Butler state police.

Wesley Summerville, 65, of Clarion pleaded guilty to a charge of writing a bad check filed March 28.

Grant Young, 27, of Butler was waived to court on charges of making a false written statement to buy a firearm and unsworn falsification filed March 21 by Butler state police.

Dawn Finucan, 50, of Butler was waived to court on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, accident involving death or personal injury, accident involving damage to unattended vehicle, disregarding traffic lanes, following too closely, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, failure to stop and give information and failure to notify police of accident involving death or personal injury filed March 21 by Butler state police. A charge of reckless driving was withdrawn.

Michael Edward Mazurek, 50, of Butler waived to court charges of endangering the welfare of children, use of drug paraphernalia, making terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment filed March 16 by Butler state police. A charge of cruelty to animals was withdrawn.

Jeffrey Lee Parkinson, 29, of Chicora waived to court charges of driving under the influence, a stop sign violation, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving filed March 21 by state police.

Joseph Bradshaw, 27, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, notice of change of name or address, failure to notify of change in address, driving with a suspended license, trespass by motor vehicle and driving with an open container of alcohol filed March 21 by Butler state police. A charge of driving without a license was withdrawn.

Justin Barger, 32, of Parker waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment filed March 9 by Butler state police.

Diana Jones, 53, of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to retail theft and disorderly conduct filed March 21 by Butler state police.

Christina Jones, 34, of Chicora pleaded guilty to retail theft and disorderly conduct filed March 21 by Butler state police.

Wayne Krauchak, age unknown, of Butler waived to court charges of dogs not validly registered and failure to comply with dangerous dog requirements filed March 21 by state police.

Joshua Pisor, 29, of Hilliards was held for court on charges of conspiracy — manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; and possession of a prohibited firearm filed Feb. 6 by Butler state police.

Kurt Pohto, 55, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct filed March 21 by state police. A charge of receiving stolen property was withdrawn.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge William S. O’Donnell recently heard these cases:

Nicholas Alexander Kirsch, 21, of Ellwood City waived to court charges of small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving filed Sept. 24 by state police.

Dalton James Hewitt, 19, of Ellwood City waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving without headlights filed Jan. 30 by Slippery Rock University police.

Mark James Premdas, 19, of Butler waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed Feb. 5 by state police.

Paul Robert Caldwell, 55, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving filed Jan. 21 by state police.

Susan Marie Stephenson, 62, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of driving under the influence, failure to keep right, improper turn and operating a vehicle without valid inspection filed Feb. 6 by state police.

Christopher T. Reeseman, 21, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving the wrong way filed Feb. 12 by Slippery Rock police.

Joseph G. Dahl, 34, of Butler was held for court on a charge of writing a bad check filed Oct. 3.

Joseph Aron Wagner, 21, of McDonald waived to court charges of driving under the influence, a lighting violation, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without inspection filed Feb. 12 by Slippery Rock police.

Richard Joseph Shrieve, 24, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of driving under the influence and speeding filed Feb. 15 by Slippery Rock police.

Morgan James Means, 22, of Gibsonia waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving without headlights filed Feb. 5 by Slippery Rock police.

Sara Jane Travis, 51, of Slippery Rock waived to court a charge of retail theft filed March 17 by Slippery Rock police.
