SRU sets emergency drill for Wednesday
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University has scheduled a campus drill between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday to give the school and local authorities a chance to practice emergency protocols.
The drill will occur in and around a residence hall and will involve a mock emergency situation to which university police, Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department, EMS and borough police will respond.
The drill, which will include all students, faculty and employees at the university, will also include the use of SRU's electronic notification systems and will be concluded with an “all clear” message that indicates normal university activities will resume.
