Moniteau rally nets 5-3 win over Cranberry

Lake Pry had a pair of hits and drove in three runs as the Moniteau baseball team rallied for a 5-3 win over Cranberry.

Jake Jewart got the win, striking out eight in 6 2/3 innings. Pry came in to get the final out for the save for the Warriors (8-3).

Track and Field

Hunter Prementine won the 110-meter hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump to lead the Slippery Rock boys to a 99-51 win over Greenville.

On the girls side, Macy McCall and Brady Dalton won multiple events to lead the Rockets to a 95-55 win.

The Slippery Rock boys are 3-1 while the girls are 3-0.

Boys Volleyball

Butler cruised to a 25-12, 25-9, 25-18 sweep of North Hills.

Nash Bryan had eight service aces and 11 kills. Tyler Rankin added 24 assists for the Golden Tornado (7-3, 4-3).

Girls Lacrosse

Taylor Carr scored eight goals and added two assists as Knoch downed Winchester Thurston 19-10.

Brenna Moore added five goals and two assists for the Knights.

Kaylie Andrasko and Kennedy Eurich added a pair of goals and Emma Jackson and Emily Govan also found the net for Knoch.

Boys Lacrosse

Ben Lewis scored four times while teammates Michael Doyle and Anthony Grieco both had three goals, but Mars (9-1) lost for the first time this season, 16-14 at Pine-Richland.
