Members' Show

The colorful pen and ink drawing “Stephanie” by Mat Fix will be on display beginning Sunday at the Butler Art Center as part of the Associated Artists of Butler County members show.
Exhibit opens with Sunday reception

Associated Artists of Butler County members will show their work in a members-only show opening Sunday at the Butler Art Center.

An opening reception will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The exhibit will continue through May 6. Admission is free.

Other upcoming events at the Art Center include:

- Artists Against Alzheimers featuring art, comedy and music, 6 p.m. April 29, $10

- Underground Band nights, 6 p.m. May 5 and 19

- AABC annual Spring Art Show, May 26 to June 17, with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. May 26. During the same dates, a Small Works Art Show will be held in the upstairs gallery

- Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival activities, 5 to 10 p.m. June 9- 1940s/World War II-Era Photo Show, July 12 to 22, with a reception from noon to 4 p.m. July 15.The center's regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.Call 724-283-6922 or visit ButlerArtCenter.org.

Terry Hagen's pastel depicting Amelia Earhart will be on display beginning Sunday as part of the Associated Artists of Butler County members-only show at the Butler Art Center.
