Portersville to present 'Joseph'
PORTERSVILLE — Portersville Christian School, 343 Portersville Road, will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 7 p.m. April 27, 28 and 29 in the school gynasium, 343 E. Portersville Road.
Adults tickets cost $10. Student tickets cost $8. Children 5 and under are free.
Tickets are available in the school office for anyone that wants to buy them ahead of the performances and are at the door on the nights of the show.
“Joseph,” with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis.
The show has little spoken dialogue; it is completely sung-through. Its family-friendly storyline, universal themes and catchy music makes it perennially popular.
