Crash temporarily shuts down Route 8
CLAY - Traffic was temporarily stopped along Route 8 in Clay Township this morning after an 8 a.m. vehicle accident.
According to state police, a woman was driving a car erratically before leaving the roadway and hitting a tree. She was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Both lanes of the road were closed, but are now open.
