Get tough on crime

Governor Wolf needs to man up and sign the death papers on Richard Poplawski and the other convicted murderer. Killing a police officer should be automatic. Judges and jurors need to hand out more death sentences, and they should be carried out in a timely manner — in 90 days, not years.

How many are on death row for 10, 15, or 20-plus years? Why should they be kept in prison for life on taxpayers’ money?

Crime is running amok in our country and it’s time the justice system stepped up and get tougher with criminals. I think they have too many rights. When you knowingly commit a crime you should lose your rights and only be entitled to a speedy trial.

Diminished capacity and mental defect should be dropped. These criminals put on a good show.

Texas put one down not too long ago. If Texas can do it so can Pennsylvania.
