Suspect denies killing 4-year-old boy

Keith Jordan Lambing

The suspect in the death of a 4-year-old Butler boy has denied killing him.

Keith Jordan Lambing, 20, who has multiple addresses, was leaving a juvenile dependency hearing in the Butler Government and Judicial Center this afternoon when he made the denial.

Lambing was asked if he killed Bentley Thomas Miller. “No sir,” Lambing said.

Bentley died Tuesday after he was rushed from a motel on Route 8 to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Lambing had been watching his 4-month-old child and Bentley at the motel while the two boys' mother, MacKenzie Peters, had left the motel to go to work.

The closed hearing was for the juvenile courtmaster to determine if the 4-month-old needed protection from a person or situation.

Attorney Joseph Kecskemethy, who represented Peters in the dependency hearing, declined to comment. “We can't talk today,” he said.
