BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

The Rev. Fred Young will lead the seekers class of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., at 10 a.m. Sunday in the assembly room.

The noisy offering of loose change will be at the Sunday worship service. The offering benefits the Refreshing Springs Ministry in Aliquippa.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., has the First Baptist Christian School High School sports banquet at 6 p.m. Friday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road.

The Sunday schedule includes an 8:30 a.m. prayer service and 9:15 a.m. breakfast before Sunday school and the worship service.

The women’s missionary fellowship meets at 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, has an all-church potluck dinner and game night at 5 p.m. Saturday at the youth center. Take a dish to share, a 2-liter bottle of soda and a favorite game.

In addition to Sunday school and morning worship, there will be a 6 p.m. worship service Sunday.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., has the toddler frolic program during the Sunday school hour.

The dinner church sponsored by the Genesis committee will be at 5 p.m. Sunday and include a light meal.

The Butler Area Lutheran Ministry Wednesday Lenten service meets for a simple supper at 6 p.m. and worship at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 143 Church St., Prospect.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN

The First Presbyterian Church of Emlenton, 508 Main St., Emlenton, will host the fourth community Lenten service, sponsored by the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Ministerium, at 7 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Christopher Clark of Chapel on the Hill, Emlenton, will speak. The Rev. Darrell Knopp is the host pastor.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The chancel choir of Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will rehearse at 9 a.m. Sunday and sing during the worship service.

Sunday is the deadline to order Easter flowers for the chancel.

The Easter breakfast sign-up sheet for food donations and for setup and cleanup is on the deacons’ table.
