JacksonTwp PoliceSunday — Gregory J. Basilone, 47, of Zelienople was arrested after he allegedly broke into his brother’s house Saturday evening on Evans Road and stole $300 in currency.Police believe Basilone knew his older brother and wife would be gone for the evening when he broke into the home between 6:40 and 6:50 p.m.Investigators were able to narrow down the time of the break-in because the victim had installed a motion-activated security camera inside the home. The camera captured the defendant going into and leaving the room where the money was stolen. The couple returned home and went to bed that night unaware of the crime, police said. However, the next day they discovered the money missing and reported it to police.Authorities arrested Basilone in Zelienople.
