In response to John Dollar’s letter (“Twisting Scriptures,” March 17) there is one thing I would very much like to take to task.

He states “The Berlin Wall was to keep communism trapped.” The Berlin Wall was built by a Communistic government for no other reason then to keep trapped its citizens, who wished to live in a free Democratic society, from fleeing to the West where they could find such freedom.

Please don’t attempt to make the building of the Berlin Wall as a good thing. It was not. I am glad I lived to see it crumble.
