CRANBERRY TWP — Marriott opened a new extended-stay hotel Wednesday in the Cranberry Springs development.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott opened at 2020 Cool Springs Drive, near the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. The hotel has 96 studio and one-room suites.

“We’re excited to introduce the TownePlace Suites brand to the Cranberry Township area,” said Loren Nalewanski, vice president and global brand manager for TownePlace Suites. “At TownePlace Suites, we get it. We want to go above and beyond to do everything we can to make our guests feel comfortable.”

The hotel offers studio and one-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchens and separate living, working and sleep areas. There are more than 280 TownePlace properties across the U.S. and Canada and more than 180 in the works.
