BLIZZARD OF ’93 — Police direct traffic after a tractor-trailer got stuck and had to back down North Main Street hill on Saturday, March 13, 1993. The famed “Blizzard of ’93” dumped 24 inches of snow on the county. Winds topped 30 mph and the temperature fell to a low of 1 degree.
