Due to inclement weather forecast for today and Wednesday, the PIAA has pushed back all postseason basketball and swimming and diving events.

Second-round basketball games, originally scheduled for today and Wednesday, will all be played on Thursday. The updated schedule for Butler County-area teams follows.

Grove City (20-6) vs. Quaker Valley (23-3), 8 p.m. at North Allegheny High School

Class 3A

Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic (22-5) vs. Shady Side Academy (19-7), 8 p.m. at Armstrong High School

Girls

Class 5A

Mars (18-7) vs. Oakland Catholic (23-4), 6:30 p.m. at North Allegheny High School

Class 4A

Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic (24-2) vs. Punxsutawney (20-4), 6:30 p.m. at Armstrong High School

Class 3A

Karns City (19-5) vs. Neshannock (24-2), 7:30 p.m. at Slippery Rock University

Swimming and Diving — The Class AA Swimming Championships will be held Thursday and Friday at Bucknell University in Lewisburg.

Class AAA swimming will be contested Saturday and Sunday. The Class AA Diving Championship will take place March 25 at Bucknell, followed by Class AAA on March 26.
