Nancy Lee English Wimer

Nancy Lee English Wimer, 73, of West Liberty Borough passed away Saturday at her home.

Nancy was born Feb. 23, 1944, to Raymond Oscar English and Blanche Ellen Dodds English.

She grew up on a produce farm in West Liberty with her two sisters and her brother.

Nancy lived a life filled with her children, gardening and crafting, among many other interests. She took trips in the truck with Chuck and enjoyed traveling out west to visit their daughter's family.

In recent years, she enjoyed “going on adventures” with her best friend, Debbie Dietrich.

“They never knew where they were going but they always got there!”

Nancy is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Laura Ann and John S. Slaback of Phoenix, Ariz.; her son, Dan L. Wimer of West Liberty; her grandson, Daniel K. Norton of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Donna (Ken) Johnson of Washington and Judy Wilks of Ariz.; her brother, Jim (June Fathergill) English of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
