State police issue warrants for suspected drug dealers

Alleged deals were in 2015-16

State police Friday obtained arrest warrants for several suspected drug dealers accused of selling narcotics in Butler.

The warrants stem from alleged drug trafficking in 2015 and 2016. The defendants are accused of using telephones to set up deals with police informants.

All of the suspects are charged with delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, both felonies, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

The defendants are as follows:

Sonja J. Drake, 42, whose last known address was Butler, is accused of selling 2.09 grams of crack and 10 stamp bags of heroin during a $390 drug deal Feb. 18, 2016, on North Street.

Marcellus S. Dumas, 39, an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Beckley, W.Va., and Brittney R. Rudolph, 33, whose last known address was Saxonburg, are accused of selling four plastic bag corners of heroin during a $100 drug deal June 1, 2015, at Federal and Bredin streets. According to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, Dumas is to be released on Jan. 25, 2019.

Anthony S. McGuire, 37, whose last known address was Greenville, Mercer County, is accused of selling eight stamp bags of fentanyl, two stamp bags of heroin and 0.29 grams of crack during a $150 drug deal Feb. 12, 2016, at the Pullman Square shopping plaza.

Darnell A. Wynn, 37, of Butler is accused of selling 1.54 grams of crack and a stamp bag of heroin during a $250 drug deal May 23, 2016, at West Brady and Broad streets.
