12:25 p.m. Wednesday — A two-vehicle accident happened on Mercer Road in Center Township.A Ford E-350 was stopped at the intersection of Mercer Road and Route 8 waiting to make a right turn onto Route 8 South. A Ford Transit attempted to pass on the shoulder to make a right turn onto Route 8 South, and sideswiped the passenger side of the Ford E-350.Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.Police said here were no injuries and did not release the names of the drivers. The driver of the Ford Transit was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.1:30 p.m. Jan. 10 — A two-vehicle accident happened on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.Joseph H. McKain, 46, of Butler was driving a Mack dump truck east on Route 68 and slowed to make a left turn onto Shannon Road when Mark H. Prentice, 46, of Wexford, driving a Toyota Corolla, attempted to pass the dump truck on the left.The Corolla hit the front left corner of the truck's snow plow. Police said both vehicles were driven from the scene, and neither driver was injured. Prentice received a no passing zone citation.<h3>State Police, Franklin</h3>7:35 p.m. Thursday — Mark Emory Harned was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of illegal drugs following an incident on College Street in Emlenton.Harned was allegedly using illegal drugs while stopped in a Dodge Ram 1500 on College Street with his foot on the brake. Police said he overdosed and passed out. His foot slipped off the brake, and the Ram hit the back of a Chevrolet HHR. Harned was transported to UPMC Northwest.<h3>State Police, Clarion</h3>Feb. 19 — Police reported they are investigating the vandalism of a trail camera in East Brady. The unknown vandal Feb. 12 used a blunt object to smash the camera that was on or near a tree on the victim's property on Riverview Drive.Police said the investigation will remain open pending the processing of photographs from the camera.11:50 p.m. Feb. 12 — An unknown driver caused a two-vehicle wreck in Richland Township, Clarion County, before driving away.The crash happened on Interstate 80 west when the hit-and-run suspect, who was traveling in the left lane, swerved into the right lane, hitting the driver's side mirror of a tractor truck driven by Robert S. Flick, 55, of Watsontown, Northumberland County.Flick swerved to the right after the collision and slid into the guardrail. Police said the unknown driver fled. No one was injured but the truck had to be towed. The Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.<h3>State Police, Kittanning</h3>2:16 a.m. Feb. 19 — A 24-year-old Ford City man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 66 south of Fort Run Road in Manor Township.8:50 p.m. Feb. 17 — A 28-year-old Templeton man was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 28 north at exit 18 in South Buffalo Township. The man, who police did not identify, also was found with a small amount of suspected marijuana. Police said charges are pending lab results.3:02 p.m. Feb. 17 — Two Cambria County men, who police did not identify, face drug charges after they were caught with 52 bags of suspected heroin following a traffic stop in South Buffalo Township. Charges are pending lab results, a police report said.
