CRANBERRY TWP — A male motorcycle driver was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday at the intersection of Franklin Road and Route 228.

The accident was reported at 6:48 p.m., according to county 911 records.

The cycle driver, whose name was not available, was transported by Cranberry Township EMS with unknown injuries, Cranberry Fire Chief David Mack said.

Township police responded to find the man conscious and alert, but on the pavement in the middle of the intersection.

The second vehicle, which was eventually towed, was able to safely pull over to the side of the road.
