Five Slippery Rock wrestlers have advanced to this weekend’s District 10 Championships.

Elijah Hilliard advanced at 182 pounds by winning his weight class at the sectional meet last weekend at Sharon High School.

Mike Doerflinger and Mike Antal took second in their respective weight classes while Kaleb Kamerer placed third and Tristen Borland fourth.

All five will compete at the D-10 championship meet, also slated at Sharon High School.

Boys Basketball

Coby Jaggon scored 26 points as Summit Academy held off Fort Cherry 73-71 in the WPIAL 2A playoffs.

Kyree Gholston added 14 points for the Knights, who will play Bishop Canevin Friday at a site and time to be determined.
