Maldonado, Robertson

Johanna and Matthew Robertson

Johanna Maldonado of Arlington, Va., and Matthew Robertson of Silver Spring, Md., were united in marriage Sept. 9 at Khimaira Farm in Luray, Va. The Rev. Diane Hirsch officiated. A reception followed at Khimaira Farm.

The bride is the daughter of Jhonny and Maria Maldonado of Arlington. Parents of the bridegroom are Alan and Nancy Robertson of Meridian.

The honor attendant was Sarah Wujcik of Arlington. Bridesmaids included Rosa Zelada of Arlington, Zenia Maldonado of Hampton, N.Y., Emily Maldonado of Arlington and Emily Robertson of Hedgesville, W.Va.

The flower girl was Zoey McCarrier of Cranberry Township.

Performing the duties of best man was Matthew McCarrier of Cranberry Township. Ushers included Josh Cavalier of South Park, Ryan Jones of Manayunk, Joey Andrews of Tysons Corner, Va., and Jhonny Maldonado Jr. of Arlington.

The ring bearer was Wesley Zelada of Arlington.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Wakefield High School and a 2013 graduate of Longwood University.

She is employed by the Urban Land Institute in Washington.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Butler High School. He graduated from Penn State University in 2011 and from the Johns Hopkins University in 2015.

He is employed by Bestgate Engineering in Baltimore.

Following a honeymoon trip to Key West, Fla., the couple is making their home in Silver Spring.
