Aaron and Renee Davis

Renee Danielle Pentz and Aaron Martin Davis, both of Butler, were united in marriage Oct. 8 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Butler. The Rev. Andrew DeFusco officiated. A reception followed at Laube Hall in Freeport.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Joanne Pentz of Rockton. Parents of the bridegroom are Rodger and Darla Davis of Butler.

The maid of honor was Breana Currie of Jamestown, N.Y. Bridesmaids included Hollie Davis of Butler, Grace Kriner of Greenville, N.C., Kaitlynn Hamaty of Hummelstown, Courtney Liko of Springdale and Megan Stepp of Cabot.

Performing the duties of best man was David Govan of Butler. Ushers included Justin Pentz of Morgantown, W.Va., Robert Frantz of Pittsburgh, Jarret Engstrom of Pittsburgh, Jason Robinson of Butler and Ford Stepp of Cabot.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of DuBois High School. She received a master’s degree in physician assistant science from Gannon University in 2015.

She is a general surgery physician assistant at Butler Health System in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School in 2008. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Gannon University in 2012.

He is a corporate banking underwriter at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to New England, the couple is making their home in Butler.
