Free blood testing offered for Summit students, staff

The Butler School District Friday announced free blood lead level testing and serum copper level testing for students and staff of Summit Township Elementary School.

Testing will be offered between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday at Broad Street Elementary School, 200 Broad St. To schedule an appointment call the office at 724-214-3880.

The tests at the school will be conducted by Butler Health System staff. Students and staff may also get testing done at any Butler Health System laboratory and have the costs billed to the district.
