Margo L. Hogan

Margo L. Hogan, 81, of Zelienople passed away Thursday at the Passavant Retirement Community.

Born May 20, 1935, in Deer Creek, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Marion Lois Sterling Girdwood.

Margo was an active member of the Park Presbyterian Church and Grace Church of Harmony. She belonged to the Zelienople Historical Society.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Vicki (Steve) George, Vivian (Mark) Stevens, Roger Bradley (Kristen) Hogan, Kristi (Eric) Mawhinney, Ann DeMarco and Kimberlee (Larry) Bettencourt; her sister, Jocelyn (Phil) Gialombardo; 32 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Margo was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hogan; her sister, Jackie Reilley; and her brother, William Girdwood.

HOGAN — The family of Margo L. Hogan, who died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, will welcome friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Additional viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at noon Saturday at the Seaman Memorial Chapel at Passavant Retirement Community, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople.She will be laid to rest at St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Margo's honor, in support of a project called “Safe Motherhood” in Ethiopia at whprojects.worldhelp.net/margohogan.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
