BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College is consolidating some of its oil and natural gas industry courses into one, four-hour session.

The course will focus on work site safety and standardized training, and replaces multiple classes at multiple sites. It also provides an alternative to an identical workshop that, until now, was only offered at downtown Pittsburgh’s Energy Innovation Center.

The class is set for noon Jan. 31 at BC3’s Public Safety Training Facility at the college’s main campus. Additional dates are also scheduled throughout the remainder of the year.
