The Karns City competitive cheerleaders practice at Sugarcreek Elementary School on Monday. The squad will compete in the PIAA State Competitive Spirit Championships in Hershey on Friday. In only the program’s fourth year of existence, the Gremlins claimed their first District 9 championship in the Medium Division, beating a field of 11 teams earlier this season in DuBois.
