Saxonburg library lists programsSAXONBURG — The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., will host several winter programs in January and February:“Snow Much Fun” will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays during January and February for grades four to eight and on the first and third Thursdays for kindergarten to grade three. January participants will make snow and form it into snow creations and build igloos from surprise materials.The LEGO challenge for kindergarten to grade eight will be at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 30.The January reading challenge for all children is available at www.southbutlerlibrary.org and at the library.A new teen book club will begin with “The Book Thief.” Copies are available at the library.For more information, call the library at 724-352-4810.Notices of local upcoming news should be received by the Community Department one week in advance of the event.
