Butler Eagle hosting Steelers tailgate party

The Butler Eagle, 114 W. Diamond St., will host a Pittsburgh Steelers tailgate party Friday in the parking lot located in front of the building’s main entrance.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is open to the public. Lunch will be available for $5 while supplies last.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Penn Theater Performance Company.

The tailgate party will include a 50-50 drawing and raffle items, including a James Harrison Fathead. The Steeler bus owned by the Ken Bronder family of Butler Township will also be on display.

The Bronders are longtime Steelers season ticket holders and take the bus — painted in Steelers colors — to home games.

The Steelers travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs this weekend. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Sunday.
