In loving memory of our beloved Randy Stroup on his 58th birthday January 11.

Another year, another birthday is here without you, Randy.

Fifty-eight years ago you were born and then we had no way of knowing that we would only have sixteen years with you.

Your special sixteenth birthday was the last birthday we celebrated with you.

We remember the big tall teenager you were then and wish so much you could be here today to celebrate with a party, gifts, a cake with candles and your family singing “Happy Birthday” to you, but the only gifts today are the precious memories you left behind of days when you were here with us.

Time has eased the pain of losing you but we miss you still and always will,

Every day.

Life goes on and though this day is sad it’s filled with memories of you and other birthdays so long ago.

You won’t be here today with us but you’ll always be here in our hearts and thoughts.

For those who love you this day will always have a special place in our hearts and we’ll ask the angels to sing “Happy Birthday” to you and we thank God for the years we had with you.
