County police alerted to nearby bank heist
Police around the county were alerted this morning to be on the lookout for a man who robbed a bank in Allegheny County.
According to an alert issued by Butler County Emergency Services, the First National Bank on Devine Drive in Marshall Township was robbed at 9:09 a.m.
Police are looking for a white man who is about 6 feet tall. He was described as wearing a green jacket with a hood, a plaid shirt and jeans. It was unknown if he had a weapon, if he had a vehicle or what his direction of travel was after leaving the bank.
An employee who answered the phone at the branch declined to comment about the incident.
