Raymond Richard Osborne

Raymond Richard Osborne, 92, of Butler, passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born April 29, 1924, in Forestville, the son of the late Samuel Harvey and Ethel McGill Osborne.

Ray was a Merchant Marines veteran having served during World War II. He was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Butler Elks 170 for 72 years, VFW Post 249 and Lyndora Legion Post 778.

Surviving are his daughter, Denise Cambisi and her husband, Thomas, of Rochester, N.Y.; his son, Dennis Osborne, and his wife, Linda, of St. Louis, Mo.; two grandchildren, Kelly and Steve Osborne of St. Louis, Mo; and his brother, Ralph Osborne of Grove City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Eileen Osborne; three sisters; and two brothers.

OSBORNE — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Raymond Richard Osborne, who died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 7 at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
