Barbara A. Henderson

Barbara A. Henderson, 66, of Bradys Bend died Sunday at ACMH Hospital.

Born Jan. 24, 1950, in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of Thomas and Rose Lackovic Sedok.

A 1967 graduate of Union High School and a 1971 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University, Barb earned a master's degree in speech pathology and audiology and a certificate of clinical competency. She was the speech pathologist for DuBois School District for 33 years.

On Dec. 26, 1970, Barb married Chris Henderson who survives.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church where she was a lector and a member of the Young at Heart and the Altar Rosary Society.

Barb was a life member of the Bradys Bend Historical Society, the Red Hat Society and a life member of the National Rifle Association.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Henderson of Bradys Bend; one son, Ray Henderson of Bradys Bend; two brothers, Ed Sedok and his wife, Gloria, of Forest Lake, Minn., and Tom Sedok and his wife, Denise, of Cadogan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Gerald Sedok.
