Richard Huba

Richard Edward Huba, 66, of Manorville, Pa., died Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

He was born June 6, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Mary Huba.

Richard was a 1968 graduate of Butler High School and a 1972 graduate of Slippery Rock University. He retired from Armco in Butler. Following his retirement, he was a substitute teacher for the Armstrong School District.

Richard was Ukrainian Orthodox, but attended the Grace Lutheran Church in Manorville for the past 15 years with his family. Richard enjoyed playing tennis, sitting on the front porch in the summer, and loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be sorely missed.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Nancy Williams Huba; his children, Sarah (Josh) McCart and Jesse Huba; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Lila McCart; and his brother-in-law, James Williams.

HUBA — A memorial service for Richard Edward Huba, who died Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Manorville with the Rev. Jack Delk officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.

Arrangements are being handled by the WELCH FUNERAL HOME in Ford City.
