Butler Police5:15 a.m. Friday — Amy L. Allaman, 36, was arrested after allegedly biting and hitting her boyfriend, Christopher Snyder, with household items during a domestic dispute at their apartment in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street.Snyder told police that he and the defendant got into an argument during which she threw several objects, including an ashtray, DVD player, lamp, drill and a knife, according to court documents. The DVD player hit him in the left hip, causing redness, and the ashtray hit him in the left elbow, causing bleeding.Allaman is also accused of biting her boyfriend on the chest. Snyder eventually ran to a nearby convenience store, he said, to get away and to call police.Officers got to the store, documents said, and found the defendant standing outside and yelling at Snyder.Allaman was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.Thursday — Police charged Cherie L. Campbell, 54, of Ford City, Armstrong County, with drugged driving after they caught her last month in a parked car that was still running at a business in the 100 block of South Monroe Street.Officers said Campbell appeared unaware about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 13 when they got to her car at the API parking lot. While talking to her, according police, the suspect appeared to be impaired. She denied drinking but admitted taking medication for a recent back injury.Campbell was arrested after failing field sobriety tests and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. A search of her purse, documents said, turned up a tin pill box with six alprazolam pills and a Ritalin pill. She did not have a prescription for either medication.A toxicology report subsequently showed the presence of the anti-anxiety medication alprazolam in her system.She is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Bradley S. Cramer, 27, of Butler was arrested in connection with a theft scheme May 20. He was arraigned on charges of forgery, identity theft, access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking. Cramer was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment.5:26 p.m. Wednesday — Jeremy C. Oesterling, 37, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting $105 in merchandise at the Butler Commons’ Walmart. He is charged with retail theft.Wednesday — Police charged Tavis S. Sadulski, 31, of Butler with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop about 10:20 p.m. Oct. 22 on Whitestown Road. In addition to driving under the influence, Sadulski is charged with two counts of driving with an open container of alcohol. He also was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.4:56 p.m. Nov. 29 — A car driven by Tonya Kildoo, 38, of Butler struck another vehicle at North Boundary Street and Young Avenue. Police said Kildoo faces a ticket for a stop sign violation. Ashley Trump, 30, of Lyndora was the other driver.

Grove City PoliceMonday — Police charged a 17-year-old boy, who they did not identify, in connection with a theft investigation that began in October.The investigation began Oct. 23 when police got a call for a theft from a vehicle report. Stolen from the car were three Traxxis remote-control vehicles and a three- cell battery. The stolen items were valued at $1,820.00.Police on Friday obtained a search warrant for an apartment in the 300 block of West Main Street, where they recovered most of the stolen property as well as suspected drug contraband and alcohol.Police charged the boy in Mercer County juvenile court with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol.11:48 p.m. Thursday — Harlan L. Anderson Jr., 60, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence on South Broad Street.9:34 p.m. Wednesday — A fallen tree on the road was blamed for a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of George Junior Road.Before the crash, a police report said, Megan Gumble, 23, of Beach Lake, Wayne County, stopped her car because of tree was blocking the road. While attempting to turn around, her car was struck by a vehicle driven by Ryan Dugan, 26, of Grove City.No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Dugan for driving at an unsafe speed.

State Police, Butler8:54 p.m. Monday — Four people were hurt in a one-vehicle crash in Lancaster Township. The wreck happened when Beverly J. Say, 71, of Franklin, Venango County, lost control of her car on Interstate 79 and struck a guide rail.Say and three of her passengers — Paula R. Krizon, 66, Dawn A. Kinch, 52, and James B. Novak, 31, all of Franklin — suffered minor injuries. They were all wearing seat belts. Say and Krizon were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.Police said Say was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.Monday — Police reported they are investigating the theft of a John Deere riding lawn mower stolen from a shed in an October burglary at a home on Hungarian Road in Cherry TownshipThe mower, which was taken between Oct. 10 and 21, later turned up in the 400 block of Claytonia Road in Clay Township. Anyone with information should call 724-284-8100.8:25 p.m. Sunday — Sean D. Wiley, 45, of Erie was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 just north of the Slippery Rock exit in Worth Township.3:59 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Thomas E. Rice, 39, and a pickup truck driven by Donald T. Fair, 31, both of Chicora collided on Route 68 just south of Hummingbird Plaza in Chicora. No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Rice for improperly entering or crossing a road.Wednesday — Tracy Ann Rensel, 41, of Butler, a court-recognized sexually violent predator, was charged with failing to comply with registration requirements under Megan’s Law. The defendant is required to register certain personal information with the state police every three months for the rest of her life and to attend a monthly counseling session.Police said Rensel failed to register between Nov. 14 and 23, and she did not attend a counseling program approved by the state’s Sexual Offenders Assessment Board. She is charged with a felony count of failing to register with police and a misdemeanor count of failing to comply with counseling requirements.6:19 p.m. Nov. 29 — A car driven by David A. Haunty, 66, of Butler and a sport utility vehicle driven by Ashley D. Rogers, 33, of Leechburg, Armstrong County, collided at South Rebecca Street and Horne Avenue in Saxonburg. No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Haunty for disobeying a traffic control device.11:58 a.m. Nov. 17 — Thomas John Rodgers, 50, of Butler was arrested after he was allegedly caught with dozens of stamp bags of suspected heroin and other drugs at a home in Summit Township. The arrest came after state probation officers went looking for Rodgers at the home on Old East Butler Road. He was found with 46 bags of suspected heroin, three bags of suspected crack cocaine and other medication for which he had no prescription, and two drug smoking pipes.Additionally, police seized a rifle, a violation of his parole.Rodgers was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
