[naviga:h3]Ugly sweaters, art on tap library[/naviga:h3]

ZELIENOPLE — Ugly sweater day at the Zelienople Area Public Library. 227 S. High St., will be from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12.

Visitors of all ages who wear their favorite ugly holiday sweaters can compete for prizes. The awards will be for the ugliest bought-as-is sweater and for the ugliest customized sweater.

Library staff will take photos of each sweater, and library patrons will vote during the week. The winners will be announced Dec. 19.

A Creative Teen Art Club will have its first meeting from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the library. The club is for ages 13 to 17. Teens will have an opportunity to learn and to share their interests and talents.
