Emergency crews deal with a two-vehicle collision in the 500 block of Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township Thursday afternoon.

Chief Rob McLafferty of the Herman Volunteer Fire Company said the female driver of the SUV had to be extricated after the accident, which was reported in a at 4:28 p.m. 911 call. Herman firefighters removed the driver's side door.

McLafferty said the SUV and the other vehicle, a car, appeared to collide on the drivers' sides. Both drivers were taken by Butler and East Butler ambulances to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. No serious injuries were reported.

The East Butler Volunteer Fire Department assisted Herman at the scene.

Bonniebrook Road was closed for roughly an hour while crews cleared the scene.
