Deplorable taunts

I had a scary introduction to Trump’s America on Black Friday. As I exited the bank at the Clearview Mall on Friday morning, a driver passed me in the parking lot, raising their middle finger.

I was at a loss as to why I received such a reaction. As I drove to the rear of the mall, the car pulled in front of me and then slowed down ahead of me. I decided to avoid getting any closer to them and parked near the Boscov’s entrance.

I got out of my car and saw the green, 4-door car driving up and down the rows of cars. I moved to the car next to me and waited a moment until the driver found mine.

The two young men in the car yelled out something derogatory about ObamaCare and took off. I then realized they had seen the old Pro-ObamaCare bumper sticker on my car and had chosen to stalk me because of it.

As they drove off, I saw the “Trump 2016” sticker on their rear bumper. I wish I had thought to get my phone out to take a picture of the miscreants and their license plate.

What has become of us? Thanks, Trump. Thanks to you and your inflammatory rhetoric, every deplorable out there believes they can terrorize strangers whose beliefs are different from their own.
