Charles R. Reamer Sr.

Charles R. Reamer Sr., 80, of Butler passed away at 8 a.m. Friday at Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born June 11, 1936, in Butler, the son of the late Lawrence Charles and Vinnett Sylvia Smyers Reamer.

Chuck had worked at Western Auto for 19 years, Pullman Standard, the mailing service of Pittsburgh and also at Giant Eagle.

Surviving are his wife, Janice O’Hara Reamer; his daughter, Cindy (Ed) Stone of Prospect; three sons, Chuck (Christina) Reamer Jr., Dan (Ronda) Reamer and Tim (Kim) Reamer, all of Meridian; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Lippold of Ohio, Pat (Mark) Olesnevich of Saxonburg and Bev (John) Stephenson of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister.

REAMER — Private visitation for Charles R. Reamer, who died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. today at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Ken McDeavitt officiating. Private interment will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
