Dorothy J. Mamula

Dorothy J. Mamula, 81, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Valencia, died Thursday evening at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born Jan. 27, 1935, in Adams Township, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Augusta Kern Stirling.

Dorothy had been a bank teller for the First Union National Bank.

Surviving are her friend and companion, Andrew Fordanish; two sisters, Jane (Dick) Silvester of Gibsonia and June Stirling of Valencia; her nephew, David (Lori) Silvester; two nieces, Jennifer Hall and Amy McKaveney; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

MAMULA — There will be no visitation for Dorothy J. Mamula, who died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev. Terry Stoops officiating.

Burial will be at the Allegheny County Memorial Park in McCandless Township.

Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
