Patten, Stransky

Joshua and Kelsie Stransky

Kelsie Rae Patten of Butler and Joshua Stephen Stransky of Slippery Rock were united in marriage Oct. 8 in Virginia Beach, Va. The Rev. Bruce Begault officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Lisa Patten and Brent Patten, both of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Rebecca and Stephen Stransky of Atco, N.J.

The maid of honor was Heidi Patten of Butler. Bridesmaids included Carley Patten of Butler, Kate Stransky of Atco, N.J., and Danielle Schiebel of Butler.

Performing the duties of best men were Jeff and John Stransky, both of Atco, N.J.

The ring bearer was Landyn Negley of Butler.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Butler High School and Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School.

She is employed by Butler Health System in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated from Baptist Regional High School in 2010 and from Camden County Technical School in 2011.

He serves in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The couple is residing at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Quantico, Va.
