Kathryn Spingola

Kathryn Spingola of Butler received a master’s degree in physician assistant science from Gannon University.

She was a five-year recipient of the Founders Academic Scholarship, a four-year recipient of the Grand Master H.U. Lee National Taekwondo Scholarship and achieved dean’s list all five years. She is a fourth degree black belt in taekwondo.

Spingola is a 2011 graduate of Butler High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in health studies, cum laude, from Gannon in 2015.

She is a certified physician assistant and will begin a residency in orthopedics at Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in Morton Grove, Ill., affiliated with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

Spingola is the daughter of Dr. Charles Spingola and Dr. Kathy Schweikart-Spingola of Butler.
