Scotece, Lotz
A Nov. 5 wedding is being planned by Shannon M. Scotece and Andrew Lotz, both of Pittsburgh.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carmine and Barbara Scotece of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Louis and Mary Jean Lotz of Hudsonville, Mich.
The future bride is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College in 2004. She received a doctoral degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 2012.
She is a political science professor at Western Governor’s University in Pittsburgh.
Her fiancé graduated in 1997 from East High School in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from Hope College in 2001 and received a doctoral degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009.
He is an assistant dean of students and a political science professor at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh.
