Many of us are getting tired of the allegations candidates are making against each other, some of which are undoubtedly true and some that are patently false.

The Bible reminds us we are all sinners in the hands of a God who is just and true in all his dealings.

When confronted by the religious authorities of his day regarding a woman who was caught in adultery, Jesus said, “Whoever is without sin, cast the first stone” (stoning was the Levitical method of execution for such sins in that day). The record says the accusers went away without throwing a stone.

Maybe we need to do the same thing, especially if the accusations, while perhaps true, are unsubstantiated.
